King Abdulaziz University, through its Donor Relations Department, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ghassan Ahmed Alsulaiman Nonprofit - Alsulaiman Foundation to launch initiatives and programs designed to support and empower students by transferring knowledge and professional expertise. The agreement was signed on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Office of the University President.

The MoU was signed on behalf of the university by Dr. Tareef bin Youssef Alaama, President of King Abdulaziz University, while Dr. Ghassan bin Ahmed Alsulaiman, Chairman of the Board of Alsulaiman Foundation, represented the organization.

The agreement aims to provide enriched knowledge and professional development services to students, offering them training and upskilling opportunities. It also includes participation in career-related events organized by the university, collaboration in providing venues and facilities for programs that benefit students, and engagement in joint initiatives that serve the education sector.

The MoU outlines the formation of a working group to assess joint projects, implement initiatives and programs, and coordinate Alsulaiman Foundation’s support for university projects through strategic solutions. It also covers discussions on university-related investment opportunities through a dedicated working team.

Through this agreement, the university reaffirms its commitment to its strategic vision of strengthening partnerships with the private and nonprofit sectors. The aim is to foster a holistic educational environment that supports both knowledge and professional development for students and empowers them, through joint initiatives, to be fully prepared for the job market.
